ValueClick shares surged 69 cents, or 3.7 percent, to $19.55 in after-hours trading, after closing the regular Nasdaq session at $18.86.

The forecast includes stock-based compensation expenses of 8 cents to 9 cents per share and a gain of 1 cent per share related to tax provisions.
