Here's how phishing works:

" J5 f- o- @+ DA scam artist sends an e-mail, which is designed to look like it came
. R; H! M, R5 o, h' d: j# P' pfrom a reputable company such as a bank, financial institution, or
6 C6 @4 l' O& hretailer like Amazon.com, but is in fact a forgery. These e-mails1 X' Z4 e: B# `6 }
direct you to a website that looks remarkably similar to the
: t8 a. c& W% c. r. v; B2 Xreputable company's website, where you are asked to provide account
/ n/ B- G4 G5 L) R s4 ?+ q/ N9 Minformation such as your e-mail address and password. Since that web! c6 x+ W( W9 L4 p' }0 i
site is actually controlled by the phisher, they get the information
9 Q7 a- Z/ C) Jyou entered.

our website.
