題外求助:hostgator要求我搞什麼SSL不懂什麼來的

今天收到hostgator的一郵件
Dedicated IP Reclamation. 24 hour notice - Immedicate action requested.

We regret to inform you that due to the current global shortage of IPv4 addresses, we will need to reclaim any dedicated IPs on your account whose associated SSL certificates are expired or which does not have an SSL in use on the cPanel.

另一個不知道是選那個，不過要$50和$150美元一年

5 n% v5 \8 Q, Q. s5 M8 K' _3 p我不明白，我只是給我的空間綁定一個獨立IP，每個月1美元，為什麼現在收到這個郵件，到底是什麼意思，求助，詶謝謝

具體為非要回收SSL過期的或者未使用SSL的賬戶的IP地址，你可以具體咨詢下Billing team吧。在線或者打電話都可以的。

感覺像流氓行為，如果已經買了ip應該就沒事了，但是他們還要你的ip綁定一個ssl才可以。

就是不明白為什麼非要SSL

在HG買了幾年地的空間，每個月都花100多美元，幾年了，都花到海裡面去了

然後我說了半天，汗一下先，主要是英文爛，太爛，主要就是說我不明白為什麼要買SSL，我不需要SSL，

我就是不懂，需要更詳細的信息，為什麼我一定要買這個SSL

IP addresses are in short supply, and must have justification when being applied to an account.

到現在我都還不明白，為什麼要SSL，我就問客服，如果這個IP我不能用，那能不能換另一個獨立IP給我，他說OK

我搞暈了，原來重新申請的IP還是需要SSL，還要提供SSL

HG的獨立IP地址頁面這樣解釋

Due to the global shortage of IPv4 addresses, we are now required to request justification for dedicated IP address requests. Please be aware, at this time the only acceptable justification for a dedicated IP address we can accept is for use with an SSL certificate.

You can only have 1 dedicated IP address per shared account. The dedicated IP address must be assigned to your entire cPanel. Your primary domain and all addon domains and subdomains will use the same IP address. You cannot purchase a dedicated IP for only an addon domain. Hatchling accounts are not eligible for a dedicated IP.

他們講了啊，因為IPV4資源稀缺，呵呵。他介紹的網站肯定也是他們自己的。
