I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

( _# U' K1 i( n# rHere is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
9 q% ~2 q0 W1 e5 vlead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

( S5 _" p; Y) q/ r3 V6 V' \Google accepted the new bid.

Woo hoo!

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

3 M* p6 N) X+ Q- R* u! \( x$ iFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

' V) a: A; G/ ^  v1 ]/ {7 N1 X3 rHe is not a big Google fan because of all their
& K- Z; j7 W* h  i# Orules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

* I. q* r5 h. o" ]6 ZHe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
, f8 a, Q; K5 `) ?could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
engines I had given him.

He started making some good money, but things could have

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
  H( U& K+ ^- g. U  N' Athan $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
8 I6 v( H8 S  D) W1 L$ |2 odistracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
# A( [0 a* \' p; ]6 w; n; gand had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let

Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
5 B# c$ K. }/ X( cgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

" i' M) Z0 x2 @# o, IIn fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and

; k. G8 `  k/ B) s. A- DIf he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
* m$ K' t& ?3 A$ w" _using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
4 Z) z% B# p6 Z: E50% of these gross revenues as profit.
" ]- S1 `& ]8 }1 B) _
  e; k& G' T! rHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
- g1 u8 v) v- j& Xstill netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
: e+ B( A- t7 p$ d2 ocomplete auto-pilot.

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
3 A  c. j3 t' o5 h# aset up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

# u! t9 q: e. x" J% b; u% z! }You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
8 I9 p7 E- ]7 o7 @  e! T# M, [select group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」
