Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
- a8 U, k3 j5 K! R* q4 a' ~brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
: ]  u; q$ E% ~  u2 u! a  o4 jclick search engines to CPA lead offers.

I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
( t& r" Y2 c+ O9 L" Q( @and how I was trying to fix it.

$ P5 o4 c* C  cHere is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
* s/ A- l6 s7 {( r6 @! b/ xlead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Google accepted the new bid.

Woo hoo!

7 i3 D3 W( P6 @' WNow Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

" K) n2 V/ P: g* L' aFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
7 `# W% Z5 j/ W1 Q( B# Xrules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
  g6 Q' `2 a) W% ^+ s0 qengines I had given him.

. [7 H8 e# e/ S& q# j* yHe started making some good money, but things could have
been better if not for the following:

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
/ r' ]- a: J: l2 bthan $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
1 t6 ~. T, S5 q) eas Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

$ U' E1 u7 m4 _4 w0 h2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.
. g/ u9 ?- V  I, P9 @7 q, P
& o' }0 J! m9 R3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

, D$ s2 `# Y9 C1 l; vOver the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
" w; y5 p$ p- qgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
$10,000/month.

8 f1 n# h, w( d% aa lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

, {2 D4 ?3 m8 r3 J, xFor Waseem, this was a windfall.

8 c) z4 z( ^  H' P- y/ z1 w7 A0 \Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
) B" v3 B' o# t. K  owhen I think about the potential.

In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
* E3 Z5 c6 m9 O* M1 |2 SOctober.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
5 W3 Y+ Q$ q  ~* f! {still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
9 |- ]& S+ I% @. }5 W( gcomplete auto-pilot.

% g+ s+ E8 B2 C7 @5 p; r% ^I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
/ m2 f. d! z7 |! M  C2 gseminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
select group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

$ A! \, \" c+ D1 yHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
8 f+ P' z% r! yschool and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.

student who didn』t have *any* Internet marketing experience
