Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
' v6 w3 S! v  n3 Bbrother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
& ?# G; R1 k' ^& hclick search engines to CPA lead offers.

2 g  G" ]$ m7 `3 i: wI left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25

$ r  J) T3 p! ?4 r% Trewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

) o; }4 i7 w0 N) R. b: UFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
& p! ]( B: d# Z8 W6 \lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

% c1 y; ]0 V" Z4 D" a  z2 t/ M( BHe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
0 F2 h  L& H( |0 C% \  Zwith the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
" a' G; x0 @9 Z- n9 G2 z2 P3 o# B. H- kengines I had given him.
4 ]% _* L4 P5 e6 ^& y' X: t  q
He started making some good money, but things could have
been better if not for the following:

% p3 O, x9 m2 d3 O7 n$ E4 Z1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
) m9 a: h. T/ l+ ^/ b/ Udistracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

6 c5 i3 \( F# ^& q# T) |8 k3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
, i+ n% ?# J$ u  r, hthis one go.

Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
& M7 U* P. L5 Z: u* X: G! P" }got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
2 \7 Y7 V' }( H6 c5 ~that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
2 v' e, Y( i! m" |5 Z$10,000/month.

For some people, they may say that the above profit is not
3 t# V2 X; d( t. {% o& o) L) Oa lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.
( Z; H+ N9 ?& J  q" i3 v
Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
! c  q7 n1 [2 u" |9 g0 `when I think about the potential.

& e" q- U7 O3 x5 K0 ]' R! qIn fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
$ m! |. p/ A' U, uin September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
8 d, f5 j, Z' x: f# Dcommissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
2 o; |% d( v! p, q: j/ _, `October.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

: {: ~! H  f5 |0 rHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
+ K' B+ n( m# {! ostill netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
5 A3 ?* y9 S1 K3 wcomplete auto-pilot.

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

- e8 C; [# U8 J! D3 |% a3 i7 tYou should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
5 \" Q5 g8 R6 T( X! Dselect group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

- \6 @$ d* j7 Y1 [Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.

Hope this story motivates you that if a broke college
student who didn』t have *any* Internet marketing experience
