Can I Teach This PPC-CPA Stuff? Part 2

Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
click search engines to CPA lead offers.

3 O0 k/ T8 Y) z) GI left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
# |/ G8 {2 \' a1 p$ m7 q9 t' H; ]/ clead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Google accepted the new bid.

) X  a3 `+ d) L. V0 s, TWoo hoo!

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

From this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
& a1 R+ y0 B2 }$ e) Uwriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

! _1 ?* a  a% }" ~He is not a big Google fan because of all their
; U8 u- u& Q# G0 ?% Q1 N; w( xrules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
  N1 G2 F& {" B# C2 ^+ a1 a- Ulot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
engines I had given him.

He started making some good money, but things could have
; y8 V6 U. n- r& `" J$ y% rbeen better if not for the following:

: p8 i' z& f8 G1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
% {2 O- w4 F2 {9 W3 X! u. V# Gas Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

# z6 ?/ ?5 Y3 p* Z2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
* ?' |0 ]- d+ cit was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
& U% M# c& e# g" e6 _and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
" l/ \. }) q! d) a- D- J$10,000/month.

For some people, they may say that the above profit is not
a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
+ v# u. K0 q+ L( z2 b3 Fa mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.
; \, D! ?0 Q! w0 C7 a
In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
% v  ^4 ~7 {" }- ?in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
. l6 F* u8 L5 `' F2 I4 |using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.
3 g7 B  ^1 m( }/ V0 v6 f
8 u) B0 N6 @5 A7 n% A: t9 s0 R+ F1 X+ uHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
) m/ ~5 V! K0 d- tstill netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
complete auto-pilot.

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
# a, R' i% g, q" x: Jset up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
# c% n* I8 ^( u( M- X: ^& N3 Iseminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
/ s! ^( |+ w( \select group of 25 participants.

  t- _6 K6 C5 I. K5 v) u# a; C5 pI only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

& q) u2 [. v. ?# e8 qHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.

student who didn』t have *any* Internet marketing experience
