Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
- A$ \* v# d7 t8 ]: F1 V9 @, ~click search engines to CPA lead offers.

I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
, ?( k0 Q! w# Z3 }+ r  c4 w; Llead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

; j9 }& Q3 q; r8 T: h  }( _Google accepted the new bid.

  j% ^2 Z! H! P! |& WNow Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
1 i9 W3 n5 R5 C  a9 jrewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
2 D: p& R2 Y2 S. qon the ads.

! R, t: x2 G  y9 u( @: Z4 YFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

! R) A; F3 V: s+ u, I; Z% u- ^He is not a big Google fan because of all their
1 J- ^7 u. H5 K0 V! urules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

! `( L: F0 m' U9 jHe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
8 h& Q/ b% O( g8 H' U, fwith the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
  i9 a' d$ I/ C' Pengines I had given him.

He started making some good money, but things could have
been better if not for the following:

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
) G; v1 W$ ]1 ~7 T# P' J2 ^than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
* Z* T% m5 c3 J; E0 W4 f6 \  H* J; Mday, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
# }( y$ z  y0 y3 O& ]" m2 Zit was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let

. V! J/ ?4 `7 _Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
. m" D. Q7 W* x4 q) K0 P, Cgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
) q/ v% ^# j/ Y1 S$10,000/month.

  Z8 u6 J  l* t& \( `; t( [a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.
2 ~0 s5 C. e# T6 ]2 \$ X
Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
& a" b: `# V. h( d5 A; S7 iusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
( L- ?6 O* T! K6 Y4 |complete auto-pilot.
) c/ Z9 S0 _  b$ A- w) o
I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
% r4 E, K7 L! D, tset up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
9 }/ q% d5 c4 H; p! w9 [- A4 Aseminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
: v: y/ H5 H1 x" A5 L+ T4 T7 Nselect group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
6 Q' X. X4 y( eschool and start ramping my campaigns up.」

' \& N( O. O, k# J" @Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.

student who didn』t have *any* Internet marketing experience
