Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
% I" _  R( s1 @; ^brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
click search engines to CPA lead offers.

0 I3 ~  M) D/ ~* ^I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

/ X# M: T- t: k" n; A2 DHere is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
; S4 ~! W& ]  Tlead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.
% a, c! ^2 @( v2 k( e8 Z% a
! z6 C! `  p' z2 cReady?

Google accepted the new bid.

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
( v$ L' f6 x& H/ Son the ads.

From this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
* |$ z! }/ e( F! S/ b1 AGoogle.

9 s6 e1 y  Z- k2 q3 G' E& n) ?' l- |He is not a big Google fan because of all their
rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
2 p9 z, d' p3 ?9 I5 B9 w: W1 wlot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
engines I had given him.

He started making some good money, but things could have
7 n5 i/ n1 c/ U. n6 B# M" H8 z5 o' rbeen better if not for the following:

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
: y6 [% s) `' g  N* Uday, he got lazy and stopped doing much.
/ P3 F$ ~1 c  {* C
2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
- H4 O' ^) C; L/ V( }: ]9 |it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

  S5 L2 W9 J4 o! s7 [! i8 u3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
( v- d. r" l+ C; Fthis one go.

- H& o0 @7 j1 z% |, k) `Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
6 f$ O' G, {3 L1 V0 L5 s' m+ t: ~got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
' I0 p9 _+ l" T' l$10,000/month.

3 T. ^3 h3 R8 W* R7 Ta lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

& _  j+ n- Z( f8 l* k: a$ lFor Waseem, this was a windfall.
" y* t9 t5 X& ?. c8 T# D1 d
Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
8 q! i3 D8 W  ?/ a( c+ X& v9 e; M5 a3 Xin September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
- E5 E# F) H* @" [' [% [8 ocommissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.
& _1 G, h  |/ {3 g  X
If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
8 C, a3 J% S9 G/ W' @7 Gusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

0 u3 K; z: K! AHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
complete auto-pilot.

0 J$ [9 I$ D- t& _0 z; S( L+ rI actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
5 s9 I, Q# C6 U( o# [5 m$ _. Oset up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

" N$ j8 Q  q! {2 b5 B' x) aYou should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
9 _' w* @3 f% i$ f, z8 e4 t9 C- B9 Xselect group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

; B! v6 m$ j. G; Q  r# |% lHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.
