Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.254 j5 e% b1 N4 H H
lead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.5 D! R/ U: f% L) H% B1 U% x% E1 n& R

Google accepted the new bid.

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google

on the ads.

1 r* G" S& v2 f8 k. A, L4 zFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
+ Q! }' x1 J1 z' K8 L6 ywriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
% d7 S4 z# m* p6 G1 y% g, Lrules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a

. g2 S/ Z$ S8 F. y+ c, fHe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He3 I/ \5 D+ l( J Z G
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented) h! i6 S9 r0 c/ U1 ]8 D- w
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search! w0 v5 s3 _4 i4 c# }
engines I had given him.1 ?0 s6 i: i! }7 K+ z' W3 g

He started making some good money, but things could have

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
% A2 b" x* `* D% m6 ?than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon3 L' C4 G, E# k8 }7 ?, X
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a; X6 H$ Z* f# E/ v1 ]$ [! ^1 z, f
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*. r2 u6 K: e/ v5 J, \( k
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me

got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped

when I think about the potential.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns1 P! p7 L" R* I8 g/ D
using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

school and start ramping my campaigns up.」
