Can I Teach This PPC-CPA Stuff? Part 2

Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
click search engines to CPA lead offers.

/ H" ^' S: W) y# _2 a7 x( v+ xand how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
lead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Google accepted the new bid.

Woo hoo!

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
, |5 p0 e" N7 N( [/ z- Z+ crewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
# L# p( [% _6 j1 y& z* son the ads.

7 r7 ~' M; ~% H4 ~% rFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
/ Q7 j- }4 \4 M- v5 \& uwriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
" k7 k; {; ~% |+ }* {0 gGoogle.
! j$ |+ V# ?; d
He is not a big Google fan because of all their
rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
* @2 a3 w: b9 z/ T; ~; v1 p5 qcould have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
engines I had given him.

; M+ I+ A  r5 j$ T( S; e1 \He started making some good money, but things could have
been better if not for the following:

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
9 T0 K$ g8 p  X1 M' Z" @0 k7 k% Yas Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
% `# r' x* M1 M1 d% ~1 I* }0 o- Adistracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
) ]4 T# e  O/ j* h) s( Q4 Dit was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.
3 }5 d6 ~1 {7 y, a
3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
3 j6 \+ k- N" o! f- a7 xgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
; y. U- V. z1 W6 D' k# |) W6 I  Bthat he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
$10,000/month.

Here are the result of Waseem』s stats since mid-May by

a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
2 [& n# m% |* Ra mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

1 j* U1 D; v# ^/ e3 `In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
7 I* }1 y2 j% r! I* ]- z, V+ Tcommissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

& X( L4 O* B  Y# H# i; Q8 rIf he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
% P! L8 ~( \  e/ S50% of these gross revenues as profit.
* S/ }  _$ N" Y$ m6 [
3 j; v: O  f  j- _He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
complete auto-pilot.

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.
& Q8 g' ]2 f3 W8 M8 j' W
You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
select group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.
# }+ Q6 h! \6 ^4 h# c
0 Z7 T2 f& ^0 N& i( RHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.

Hope this story motivates you that if a broke college
student who didn』t have *any* Internet marketing experience
can make money using the PPC to CPA money model, so can you.
