brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
click search engines to CPA lead offers.

0 Y. t( Y: u0 a# t; F( M% Eand how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
4 E! Y& ^" q7 a4 V) [9 vlead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Google accepted the new bid.

rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR

From this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
5 ]1 u  J1 t& m, n  xGoogle.

4 C+ k/ p7 q" s1 NHe is not a big Google fan because of all their
3 O, Z6 _9 L3 m" V  ^# t, Urules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
( M4 G- f7 |" N) Vlot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

; i3 B: F& i, e* o/ `He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
% F- W  I+ F5 @0 q8 T& mwith the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
: h( ]* M1 B, f0 I. B9 p* `engines I had given him.

He started making some good money, but things could have
" L6 J8 z( Y. s: ~been better if not for the following:

. U! X7 s- t: V/ H' Q6 h- h1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
" r8 N2 f2 m' jthan $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
+ B# B3 [2 U% G& uday, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
& X" p9 H% G0 s+ Ait was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

# E' t3 `5 b8 S0 f3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

4 u+ u' M, N, D2 `Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
' q4 M% w. e7 e* Tgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
1 ^4 e  U. H: I6 Z! W: t. ?- rthat he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
$10,000/month.

For some people, they may say that the above profit is not
8 [9 g  R% {* {( J1 A6 _a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
: |9 t) y7 c/ r; G: k' Z9 ba mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

2 U/ v" b) x  D; v% PIf he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
5 S  M3 z$ R4 rusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
( {: t. l$ x$ T) \$ ^50% of these gross revenues as profit.
; s. _1 F4 M# g5 X0 ~9 L
2 ]; s$ X. _! V0 rHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
& k! x' A9 |$ |, t4 O6 f; f/ \complete auto-pilot.

9 x2 ^" w) L' R0 e+ EI actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
select group of 25 participants.

" H+ A/ }1 q9 U8 s* @I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

9 ~3 e8 W/ C4 x3 eHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
) G& p# T6 ?( f. V& u; uschool and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.
