brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per

& j- N& r7 f$ h3 S5 t0 @1 r" S9 e$ H1 C- rI left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
/ |8 F8 O" t: B) ^( {: [and how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
3 H% x1 }& j9 M& Q! M. Z, Plead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

3 I8 `+ b; H0 }9 GGoogle accepted the new bid.

Woo hoo!

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
$ ]; `5 D; G' v& s9 Zrewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
( Y* I/ D" y0 T2 g" F% ^on the ads.

7 {: P- X8 W3 L3 I% s+ s5 {9 o8 v( ZFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

' G0 F& a* Z# lHe is not a big Google fan because of all their
rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
: c) B* B' P) C: v3 \: Tlot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.
' e& G2 l& T4 ^3 u* [
He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
' G  E) o! x; J- y8 t' @: acould have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
; y  n* @2 n; P/ x2 `engines I had given him.
' l  V% D. L. V9 i& Q9 x
! r& `+ m- l$ d! f" \0 YHe started making some good money, but things could have
been better if not for the following:

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
* h- M: ^) U  o; Bit was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.
, ~9 y6 s$ k  ^
3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

0 x5 D! F) g% x: Y; k$ fOver the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
! \" }0 z5 c; K3 r% w  E8 S" sthat he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
$10,000/month.

. f, s8 q+ h! r) g1 N; ha lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
6 f! s* }( |2 D" {" va mortgage and car payment.

7 h" ?+ D1 R; \7 c7 yFor Waseem, this was a windfall.
8 f, g% o0 N( Z; a& n4 K3 w
6 Q: `& a, F7 N5 d% o" i: G1 yWaseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

5 P0 Q* G, P/ |5 F; p+ jIn fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
0 Q# q0 H  g, Q) xcommissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
+ v6 o* W3 y; w0 B7 p8 xOctober.

* Q) Y6 x, A( n) F2 DIf he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
4 M! z  ]& J2 Y5 [using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.
5 K# p# f) k) ]( c  S
He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
* V' X& ?! n% n% N0 C8 Ccomplete auto-pilot.

& E; c: F. C5 I- e* w( sI actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

7 O9 ^& g7 v* U+ LYou should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
/ V3 i; }' l: c5 n- C- ?seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
select group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

, M  F+ f  W; B  ^He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
4 U( I$ P. r0 t/ ^; B/ oschool and start ramping my campaigns up.」
