I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
lead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Google accepted the new bid.

% ?* c& n( M' v- x3 \" DNow Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
" m+ \) o8 T$ o+ m3 Xrewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

From this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
writing skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
1 i8 U8 c# p& g/ g2 ]. q  jrules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.
+ E" `  z3 c. d! {' B% z; w1 o
) `& L8 k& c. K) a: rHe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
$ @0 V: `  Q7 N+ Ucould have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
% K, y" @2 m9 b2 N! Gengines I had given him.

% |0 T2 C, k: l/ L$ q; hHe started making some good money, but things could have
' `: c3 _3 z, @0 n# q. G+ abeen better if not for the following:

- c' {. G- o; g/ |+ P$ j% _# s1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
) E$ t- g6 E5 C2 J* N6 E9 }5 Bthan $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
7 P9 {+ V, k1 N1 X- Las Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

: q/ j/ M) T0 F8 z1 ~! p3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

7 ~, O3 ], m8 d' h: zOver the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
) X' f  g5 ?0 q# f1 t8 \  Q6 S- l  B0 wthat he would have built enough traffic to pull off a

For some people, they may say that the above profit is not
+ f2 p0 ]! ^" r# M# `a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
* n: g3 m6 p$ n/ da mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

9 t$ l# y! M1 M# [! ?Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
  G! g6 F, Y7 o1 C* rwhen I think about the potential.
& [1 v: b3 ^' m0 B2 p( t; q3 E* `
In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
- D( N0 A. V# s5 }0 G: |, r6 M# jOctober.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
! u* ?; J% u3 d9 |$ Lusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

. s' n) b, a3 V0 ~9 \& {* LHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
complete auto-pilot.

3 O( T+ ], X; l( `2 }I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me

1 O! r/ p8 r; V" l$ `2 D9 N$ c% TYou should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
/ b5 Y7 M( u' b6 t8 l7 f9 T' Cseminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
9 |- f5 g; y* a) @4 vselect group of 25 participants.

I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

# G, Z% j( d/ g1 P' ~: RDon』t worry bud, only one more semester left.
