and how I was trying to fix it.

; O; g. Q' V6 r1 c2 D' jlead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Google accepted the new bid.

6 Y3 b% b. J' b# m& @) xNow Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

# N+ ?9 Y% R" t1 d. bwriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
/ [5 @% l7 I# M3 Y0 R% _rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
1 S% J* I4 S5 W/ r- L& ^3 Olot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

; I. b9 F* v; d9 v; P% @He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
# s, \! h( N0 [) U) ^7 R, awith the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
engines I had given him.

/ p  z: y* Q. ~He started making some good money, but things could have
; s6 z- Y; @3 c3 K- obeen better if not for the following:

  u& V$ {6 F# P) B, Q9 Y7 B4 @1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
6 d2 C. V/ E% I5 L- f' I9 qday, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
7 z3 p6 z/ R9 W% Uand had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let

$ F8 [7 z" b& F/ zgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
. |; C6 F: s+ Z! B: V& lthat he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
8 t# N7 N0 N1 l. f# i$ f1 @$10,000/month.

a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

$ y, d# \3 o; X8 x, x- c4 O5 SWaseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
6 F; \: o1 j3 g" x" r" Awhen I think about the potential.

) `) B1 `, ~: N( m) I! CIn fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
, J1 \. b' f5 tin September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

4 }1 F& ]3 e! \; JIf he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
4 ?9 m; c. K" w$ O8 L! H; uusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
& ~3 M' q) u5 I+ [& e/ i  ]5 `still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
complete auto-pilot.
, K3 m' @" _& T5 L5 _9 ?* w
; L3 l4 P  Z# A  X/ ^' T- NI actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
2 R1 N) ?5 a4 n! u2 [' q7 `( ~, xset up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to

He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
) n+ l. v3 K- ^+ lschool and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.
