) [3 A4 d/ d5 ^+ T) ]4 p  lI left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
% \" w, a% E% \9 F1 l) y& _and how I was trying to fix it.

  X; ^% b; V5 x' }/ k! xHere is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
! C2 g& [4 Y6 a  ?5 i4 p0 B# f0 glead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Woo hoo!

9 S3 q: E) L5 Y5 S3 nNow Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

From this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
. {. ]( N9 `; i+ mwriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
9 V9 j6 x2 l2 v& jGoogle.

# W! o) a3 P: y5 f) u8 g% BHe is not a big Google fan because of all their
rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

  s. _, ~& M; V6 s& b; K. ?  Y& r# QHe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
with the list of other *profitable* pay per click search

' p- N# C7 S1 S8 S" D; y! i% C+ [He started making some good money, but things could have

! ]" q% A2 n! N2 R$ s1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
) Q2 h6 w6 U, ~) w' a4 m( Y" eday, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
! p3 `6 `! p2 m, p- ^6 wit was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
$10,000/month.

a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.
) ~) r- Z' I' ?; r3 o3 D
( C8 \% p1 ]9 M: p" t& q/ \Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

: e! B# z8 F$ xIn fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
" C, l- O4 Q+ \3 ]  h. W9 gin September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
7 \  s- o) J+ u& R3 B0 e. hcommissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.
8 f) _" H( w2 Q$ [* x+ ]4 }, L+ s
If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
6 D/ y, s6 c& ?7 `) jusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
; X$ s( Y& z! [7 _8 ]7 X50% of these gross revenues as profit.

He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
7 z) @) x  E4 ~! ecomplete auto-pilot.

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

You should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
- S9 U, `) P( F2 Vseminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
select group of 25 participants.
& b" s7 g: r) o  a) R1 x, R
" _. I- G  x$ OI only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

He came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Hope this story motivates you that if a broke college
student who didn』t have *any* Internet marketing experience
