Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
7 G/ O, L" ?: m+ t5 }+ xbrother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
$ x( ?- G4 k5 X8 f6 ~click search engines to CPA lead offers.

I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
and how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
lead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

  `* z2 F  h4 u( PNow Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
+ k' U% X5 o, t, d3 x! |8 F/ P$ Irewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

7 U  S9 {5 x$ f3 k8 UFrom this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
* l1 O1 X) e0 w1 Y+ b7 v) W  gwriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
8 g1 }1 `2 y) D9 o" K# AGoogle.

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
: @; H! E; K3 d2 ^rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
0 s/ A7 a! ?, R4 o! j& Mlot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

He only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
, d) f$ L+ F; A2 i7 B5 @could have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
! P" I( V3 Q1 X/ I4 J, Gwith the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
engines I had given him.

He started making some good money, but things could have

1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
/ X* j0 z' `! _  g, s7 ?as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
9 T7 m, X0 @) U: }day, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
distracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
) N0 r% Z2 p; p; S. x7 Oit was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.

3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

got around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped

$10,000/month.

% J8 r' K: @4 ]* {3 z* la lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
1 o8 h2 p2 U1 g8 ]4 D3 W* ya mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

/ \+ |/ R4 L4 a8 z* gWaseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
when I think about the potential.

3 j+ P+ t3 H# \9 D! |In fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
3 F/ t2 M( d! J* E2 y! Q/ `, [in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
0 C! A8 J/ m7 u9 u2 t. zcommissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

If he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
using the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

5 J0 Z3 a0 B4 X. Q. lHe still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
" C0 E2 P6 O; a( a* B3 y9 g7 Lstill netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
' Z& ]* I$ A$ f5 P: f7 C- y% Lcomplete auto-pilot.

; z1 f6 G# q# a1 sI actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

  T3 R( H# ~/ d8 }1 HYou should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
, c. B  E; |; Q9 V0 s( nselect group of 25 participants.

1 t8 m4 l  ~1 A8 M( ~I only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

* C) Z4 @' O  R% N& ~5 J( UHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」

Don』t worry bud, only one more semester left.
