Okay, here is the continuation of the story on how I got my
brother-in-law involved with driving traffic from pay per
4 i# Q3 t9 d- w. d# @click search engines to CPA lead offers.

I left off on how he messed up his Google Adwords account
# a( v+ {. L. ]" U8 jand how I was trying to fix it.

Here is what happened when I dropped the bid on that $1.25
+ f1 I# h( F+ Q+ Z4 [+ v5 Rlead campaign from $1.00 down to about $0.25.

Woo hoo!

Now Waseem can actually make money on this offer. Google
" I# H5 C: }& U! r% }rewarded this campaign because we had developed a good CTR
on the ads.

From this experience, I reminded him to develop his ad
9 Z! X* K' z4 rwriting skills to keep a good CTR ratio for all his ads on
Google.

He is not a big Google fan because of all their
rules and restrictions, but he really likes MSN and spent a
lot of time on this PPC search engine setting up campaigns.

9 Z6 |9 n( p4 n, D& Z  ]6 THe only ever did learn Google Adwords and MSN Adcenter. He
: y) G' B/ M: Q/ r6 ucould have built a lot more traffic if he had experimented
3 G# p& q$ Y$ O% b; E) qwith the list of other *profitable* pay per click search
; H' M8 C6 C& Q' V/ v2 ~engines I had given him.

" }5 {! Y' |$ G. @+ F9 R) BHe started making some good money, but things could have
been better if not for the following:

" L6 z: n- M- b( N1 g/ s% z1. Never use a broke college student who hasn』t made more
than $2,000 in an entire summer as a test subject. As soon
as Waseem started making $100 in affiliate commissions a
, [- \# E0 o0 }2 Bday, he got lazy and stopped doing much.

2. World Cup: Waseem is a soccer fanatic and was *easily*
+ E% b0 V+ E. W5 H/ ~7 adistracted by the World Cup. So distracted that he told me
it was a *need* for him to watch almost all the matches.
' v9 H6 b3 Z9 C  P. M
8 o8 u9 I$ i& j# c1 T9 U% O2 o* {) M3. He enrolled himself in a full-time course over the summer
and had assignments and tests to complete. Okay, I will let
this one go.

Over the three and a half months he spent at my home, he only
/ `( K6 o8 I3 \1 t) Y' y3 _1 Bgot around to driving traffic to 4-5 offers. I had hoped
that he would have built enough traffic to pull off a
0 z) `' B( G3 ~  J: g% d$10,000/month.

For some people, they may say that the above profit is not
a lot of money. But for others, that is enough to cover
a mortgage and car payment.

For Waseem, this was a windfall.

Waseem got lazy and gave up to soon. It still makes me mad
5 v/ ~% _! H  G4 l" _when I think about the potential.

4 E( l% z8 L8 N  `- T  TIn fact, it was ironic that when he went back to university
in September, he virtually did nothing and his affiliate
commissions jumped to almost $4,000 in both September and
October.

' s. L+ N$ r" j% }" iIf he had just spent a few hours optimizing his campaigns
( k" A" ^; S8 o  W; O1 I- Kusing the *system* I showed him, he could have easily netted
50% of these gross revenues as profit.

He still isn』t doing anything with his campaigns, but is
, _- U$ `/ h- @( V& d) w- _still netting an average of $1,000 in profit a month on
complete auto-pilot.

I actually just recently saw him after he came up to help me
set up my recent two day seminar in Toronto.

% t4 P9 `+ J' w9 P' TYou should have seen the look on his face *after* my two day
+ n9 x; g2 n/ C- E/ _seminar, when I spilled the beans on *everything* I do to
5 c8 G( d+ D' z  n! Rselect group of 25 participants.

; k/ w4 t4 K3 }" l' O6 u9 MI only taught him about 30% of what I knew.

# x1 P2 B9 E6 G* rHe came up to me and kept repeating 「Man, I gotta finish
school and start ramping my campaigns up.」
