Hi! First thread on Jr.Vip - heh, to be honest this post is actually one of the reasons I signed up.

I've got more than a couple of questions throughout the text, so I
6 M* N& r; L6 v; M; p/ Uthought it would make it easier to follow if I underlined the, z5 x& ~# n! P% E4 Q3 ^6 T5 f3 A
questions/things I'm doubting on.

Ok, the thing is - I'm planning on doing free-signup dating offers on CPA networks.$ H H) q' z. B; b( C7 B
/ `; n; c1 I( M
I would drive the traffic to the offer mostly from CL. (dating)

1 K( }2 ?9 X1 V0 |( A! p7 K; QNow at first I was paranoid, because I read a couple of threads about Z$ l2 c( r. r& v f* J
guys complaining that they were doing free-signups, but because none of3 D4 t9 L' \2 Y! t- M3 w
the leads converted into paying ones they got transferred/not payed etc.4 l/ E' _$ S; F! g
! b% H F( ^/ T5 @3 c$ l- C3 Z m
(I'm not actually sure if they were on CPA- or adult networks. Is there a difference in these two when it comes to free-signups not converting into paid ones?)3 h, k+ s( R" R8 p8 B% c
& [4 N6 O# R# q$ G
Well anyhow, I did some research on the subject. And basically the advice I got was:
. M8 y4 Y m* v3 a% B' ^
* t7 S" Z5 U; l0 \! r1. You can always blame the offer, it's not your fault it doesn't convert.
! q: K; T+ u1 f4 z2 g1 q* C6 U' w7 V7 o* p+ ?6 }2 C* L
2. Atleast your creating a list for them, which they can try to monetize later on (emails, zip codes, addresses etc.)$ A/ _2 w: ]$ |; L0 J! a# {& l( L+ B
/ M0 d7 k" P/ C6 [- C3. What do they expect? 99% of people take something free and leave anyways.! p, F* c/ z8 X- r6 F. t' k9 m5 b' z
( A' ]% y% T2 ]1 i D2 ?' s5 ^' {
* H5 s5 F, H5 b5 f( x. \- z6 g/ W' E2 r4 M7 a4 x$ H- \4 `
I think these are some pretty legit reasons, although do they matter anything in the eyes of a network/advertiser?- A9 O/ d! w; D" v1 K" @
. \* O8 H$ q* K
2 p5 ~6 R* g( f: X, c( b1 e% B
4 c$ w/ G- q# D, A* F$ lI was also suggested to keep the amount of money made under $1500 per month per network.+ k2 x# c% S# W( K% u( [
(just to keep it under the radar) That would mean $50 per day, which is, b4 t5 L& }1 T& D/ ^4 P
like 15 leads or so. (not many for free-signups) Another thing I will
! k6 V7 P9 @9 l7 ^definitely keep in mind is not sticking on one offer - I'l rotate them, T) R3 u8 X5 U S. k* W
or atleast use one offer for..let's say - a week and then pick another

My #1 question right now is whether I should use the scheme:8 S1 ]2 L. {0 \& Z
CL->email->BH site->WH site->offer. (I'd use some script /
2 W3 P b3 D# {( s6 F- pif possible - "Referer Guardian" for redirecting) Some people, q* q. Y. C! }' h* [3 ?, ~6 @
recommended this. And actually( R6 v4 ~ [# w3 J! I
" h; o' x$ w/ h, J" u* S# Q
it would be pretty logical as a coverup - if anyone asks I'm doing doing1 P3 z3 l- z( u
PPV. (I could tell I'm spending $400 on mediatraffic per month, which c* c) i2 g5 l+ [% C
would be like 26k hits) What I would actually do is just send some fake
9 K/ g+ @9 d1 w. Y) ztraffic to it. (about 20k per month or so)
& @; S: |( C. `- x( z+ ]+ w4 V0 N; t3 a" G2 h
9 G5 m9 f( W" b2 R) [$ T9 W7 o# b

Now on the other hand there are people who tell me something like "oh
! U) R( `% |$ R2 ]why bother, it's too much of a hassle - just give them a direct link to
, N2 z! y5 {# U q7 q% ^# fthe offer when your emailing them" Well, I guess I wouldn't even have to
8 t% z f6 }0 I- T% g* \$ A# ~3 {: A, Ccloak/blank anything then? I mean, if I'm sending them the link through e-mail, the referer is blank already, right? [1 s- P& h2 c9 |) Y
/ |6 S6 H! [% e+ ~1 O0 l
Although a pretty bad setback with e-mailing is that a lot of dating
: _+ K8 O! V/ m: m7 Voffers don't allow e-mail traffic at all. With redirecting them through% I9 _' {3 d Z' J! \
sites I could cover that up." D2 [/ r9 A; }5 F2 y

1 E& D! H- @. p/ A w/ I' e1 i
" c7 L: T: w6 W2 Y4 yHm, now I know there isn't a 100% answer, but overall which road should I take? When I'd choose the second one, wouldn't it be too suspicious? What would I have to tell the AM - that I'm using a opt-in mail list? P" v0 v( x4 D6 O8 x! e( |
1 K0 z% j3 u; J: r7 n5 aWould I also have to send some fake traffic to the offer? {I mean a 15(sales):20(visitors) ratio wouldn't seem legit, would it?}
7 B, B6 B# e- }6 a
( {6 m/ F+ P: A$ m
- R2 k0 I# j( A( ]# _2 h; I7 D) J/ ?. I1 X
But with the first road, I'm puzzled with what should the sites actually" f! Q- }& h q; e7 o
look like? I mean, I've seen a "secure dating" BH site, but their for
+ Y7 A! p/ Z, M* e: hCC offers. What would a BH site for a free-signup look like? And the WH site? (a review site perhaps?) I would really appreciate if someone would give me some examples!: ~. j' z+ U3 G# ~
